I was on depakote for about a month and the side effects were awful. I had the worst nightmares and it made me more depressed. It also made me nausious all the time and I never had an appitite. There were so many numerous side effects that I don't even remember if it helped my head or not.
Be careful with it....maybe my dose was too strong.
