David is clearly a remarkable person. Kim's post lower on the board (also entitled main frame) says that all she and her 19 friends have are printers, keyboards and screens. Their internet access is courtesy of David's main frame.
Not only am I astounded that in this world of PC's, micros and minis a chef would have a main frame, the thought that he's arranged to string wires from the homes of these people to his unit is staggering! If he had just opened his broadband connection to his friends to access via their modems, I would have been impressed at his generousity, but to go to such extremes just to save them the bother of having a cpu and modem is truly an exceptional act.
