Do you mean one long true CH- excrutiating, behind the eye, feel like head is going to explode headache?
I'm going through my first bout (started in January), and am still trying to figure this out. The excrutiating attacks have stopped, but I have a "constant across the forehead" headache. Is this part of the CH cycle? I wake up with it, throughout the day it gets stronger then lessens.
