In the morning, when I woke up I discovered that my 'senses' had come back - sense of smell, space Etc. - particularly sex ( 5 years of impotance !!)
Since that first 'beta blocker' that night I have not had another bloody migraine for 2 years and my quality of life has shot up.
I checked out 'beta-blockers' on the Internet. :
2 years previous 'BB's' were not even in the top 50 recommended medications - now they are in the top 3 - as a result of research in India ( something to do with the body manufacturing it's own semi-toxins)
Have you tried BB's yet ?
Check migraines +beta +blockers on the net.
If you are convinced that they are worth a try tell your Doctor ( who, as in many cases, make good money from other, expensive, medications)
If say's 'no' - try an independant Doctor.
In any event - never give in.
Go to a 'cluster headache' message board and read the horror stories.
If you get lucky please let me know.
