I understand what you mean by that song. Many songs remind me of the pain I endure, and the hell I have survived. I listen to very heavy, aggressive music (Actually, I listen to everything: Jazz, Classical, top 40,etc.) But there are some things I listen to, and when I hear some of these words screamed in anger - I know that someone out there truly knows how I feel. Here are a few lines that get me every time:

"Do you know how far this has gone?
Just how damaged have I become?
When I think I can overcome
It runs even deeper
Everything that matters is gone
All the hands of hope have withdrawn
Could you try to help me hang on?
It runs..." "Even Deeper" - Nine Inch Nails

"Take your hatred out on me
Make your victim my head
You never ever believed in me
I am your Tourniquet" "Tourniquet" - Marilyn Manson

I could go on and on with different things that have grabbed me. In fact - I think I will throw in what has become my fave CD so far...
Marilyn Manson - Holywood: In the shadow of the valley of death
It has a song called "The Love Song" That has the most awesome line...

"I've got love songs in my head, killing us away"

Peace,
Carl D
