After a long period of pain and people telling me I had sinus problems the medical profession finally concluded I suffered CH--that was 4 years ago with CH hitting me every year for about 4 weeks at a time, worst periods being about 2hrs into sleep.
Medication I used was----
If I felt a CH comming on I went onto Prednisolone and for the most if I took a 4 week course I could avoid CH on most occassions--my back up was a Medihaler oral spray, effectively ergotamine spray which again if taken early in the attack appeared to work.Spray was made by 3M and was easy to use.
Anyway down to the question--
2 years on and managed to avoid bad CH using Prednisolone I suffered flu 4 weeks ago which appears to have reminded my CH that they should have another go at me--off I go to the doctor get the Prednisolone and ask about the Medihaler for the BAD periods--not available in uk now,so I am left searching for other things after trying to convince doctor that tabs no good, far too slow.
I am now using Migranal Nasal spray-dihydroergotamine but do not find as good or fast and sometimes or most times it has not the same effect.
I am looking for a replacement for the bad periods that is fast--what do others use?.

Thanks,
Russell
