That's pretty much the point I was trying to make. I didn't want to make anonymous feel bad, but it sounded like she (I assumed it was a woman?) was blaming her son's slacker-ness on MJ, but I'm thinking that if it weren't marijuana, it would have been something else. I just don't like to see marijuana demonized as the evil killer weed, and (without trying to start a legalization debate) the attitude that alcohol is "O.K." but marijuana isn't.
Didn't mean to trivialize anyone's addiction(s). Sorry if it came across that way.
