Here is the first post I ever posted on CH.com! This post will show how newbies can screw up and why they screw up! It also shows how we miss intrupert things. The kip schale was not here when I first posted neither was a lot of things that’s been added to the site since I came aboard. I did not get a single reply to this post. If this post was posted today, I wonder what the replies would be? I did not post again. I just read the post. I started getting cluster full blown and went to the chat room. There I FOUND Drummer and Chana ! Then all hell broke lose I had a anerisum(sp) we thought I had a cluster and I hit my head on the concret floor, and my daughter posted I think, and then Drummer called me, and helped me get the right Doctor and even helped me get a fast appointment. His wife helped me get O2. My cluster went crazy and it was a few weeks before we found out I was having pain from clusters on top of the pain from the anerisum. Point I am making is! Don’t judge a first time poster. I am glad my daughter posted and Drummer called me and all of you emailed me. I am so thankful for all the help I was given.

I have had headaches for 19 years I have tried everything anyone told me to try. I have not had a CH in two years sence i have stared taking this. I have had headaches but no where as painful as the CH. The doctor says this has kept them away. Its a nerve pill xanax.25mg tabs. The first month I took them everyday, then I cut down to just when I got upset or felt the first sign of a headache. The pain is still there but not as bad. I sit and wait wondering when I will have the next one. Hope this helps someone

First sentence I could find very little information about clusters at the time! The only people who gave me any ideas were people I knew who had mirgraines! I had never met a clusterhead!

I was having CHs at a kip pain level of about a 5, they were in the same place it just did not hurt like a full blow CH! I did not realize they were clusters, cause the pain level was so low. Drummer helped me see this. Here I was having clusters all the time and did not know it. But I knew it was related.

My doctor did not know any more about clusters than me. I just knew what he was telling me. I believe and use xanax now, when I can get it, that it has helped me. It can kill a shadow fast for Me.

I was smart enough to know the pain I was having was a warning that the demon was still with me! I truly hoped my information helped someone.
Please give the newbies more time and try to remember , we did not know a whole hell of a lot till we found each other! A newbie sometimes does not know how to explain the pain. I did not know chronics had cycles ect… I learned how to talk to my doctor, and how to explain my pain better through talking to you guys here on the site. Sure they should read more and learn more. You want to jump right in after reading the post here. Its such a great feeling someone else knows, and you want to talk to them right now, not tomorrow but right now! What does it hurt to say the same thing over and over. We take up a little room saying things over and over. It beats miss- judging someone and a page of fussing to me.
