I have not seen anything in the medical literature to guide you in terms of what dosage might trigger rebound attacks. I suspect that individual variation is so great that I should not trust any guidelines, in any case. It is clear that many people use triptans without rebound.

I should strongly suggest that, if you are having frequent or prolonged periods of CH, working with your doc to find effective preventive meds is very much in order. The alternative of only depending on abortive meds increases the risk for rebound.
