...we are here to try to help you.
First, (despite I'm not a doctor) really seems clusters to me.
Second, trying the ERs is not a useful solution to your problem. Too much to wait, few knowledge about CH in there, no right painkillers.

I suggest you (if you are in deep trouble with money) to try the "free" treatments listed here. WWW (water water water) may be the first. Then, to substitute O2, you could try to hyperventilate during the attacks (deep, long and quick breaths continuously). This will add much more oxygen to your body and keep a bit your mind away from CH (if this is possible)
Coffee and ibuprophen may be another cheap way... but slow.
Try also ice on the affected side, but caution! if doesn't function, stop and try the opposite (warm air, an hairdryer for ex.) We are all different in reactions, a thing useful for you may be a no-no for me.

And remember, here you have found a family. Ask whatever and whenever you need and want, and you will surely find people that will answer you.

But, first of all... DON'T GIVE UP!!!! The beast is to be fighted, no retreat or giving up!!!

Ciao from Italy, and sorry for poor english
