My medical resources say that TN can occur in excruciating jabs many times a day with or without provocation such as a breeze blowing on the face ( or chewing or whatever, I suppose),
but the book does not say anything about the attacks lasting more than a few minutes each.

Then there is CPH - could there be some of that confused with CH or TN?
