Jo-Ann, the ignorance of CH is everywhere. I got tired of educating overpaid idiots in the medical community who knew as much about CH as I do about rocket science. It is extremely frustrating, and can be exhausting trying to find a good doc. It took me 7 attempts in 3 years to find a good doctor, but due to our wonderful healthcare system, and the lack of regard for human beings (whom to most of us are just a number on a document filed away in someones rectum), I have been unable to see since September.
You might want to look under the "Where we live" link to the left, and try to e-mail someone who is near you and see if they can offer any advice as to a good neurologist. Your husband deserves proper medical treatment - as aspirin will not even touch a CH. These are extreme enough, it is hard to find anything that will control them, but for every sufferer it is different; and I am sure with a good doc, he can get them under control.
