Hey Cluster Buddies, The good news here makes me happy. Candida or other such fungal invasion makes perfect sense to me. If there is any better explanation of the two sided cluster, bless those people, I'd like to hear it. Two sides on different schedules throughout the day and night. My reading about candida and diflucan has leaned towards a fungal colonization of the sinus. It can and does happen but i'm unable to find proof of a candida colony in a cluster sufferer's sinus. Further to that, what is the effect of Methysergicide (Sansert) on a fungal colony? Does it open up the capillaries enough to allow the body to defeat the fungus on it's own? The time it takes for any 'cure' to be effective also would follow the pattern of a decline in a fungal colony in the body. Now, what would the mechanism be by which these other medications affect a change? Keep bringing the good news. All the best for a painfree tomorrow, Brian
