agree with letting him call you. You are dealing with both ends of the spectrum .. the sufferer and his supporter. Shes scared, he scared and mad and you are scared you'll say the wrong thing. Don't be. I can tell you that when I first heard another person describe his pain to me on the phone .... that in itself was a "I'm not going nuts" relief. I'm glad your there for them Rachel.
