I've had Five TMJ operations none worked till I found a Dr. B. Epker in Ft. Worth TX. I went 300 miles and his operation fixed my TMJ, Six years ago. Although my jaw hurts when I have a CH I think its more facial instead of the joint itself. But, if you do have a TMJ and a loss of joint space having a CH would be even more painful. My CH started several years after my last TMJ surgery.
