my attack "schedule" becomes erratic toward the end of a cluster

usual cluster cycle is:

1. beginning: start having aura symptoms, then that first one in the night, gradually increase in both number and intensity of attacks each day

2. the long struggle: fairly consistent pattern of frequency and intensity, sometimes gradually increasing in intensity for some attacks - this is always the worst part, because I never know how long it will last, could be weeks or months

3. the wind-down: attacks start becoming erratic in occurrence and intensity - but may have some of the worst individual attacks - the tip-off is the inconsistency - again, timeframe is indeterminate, but this IS the beginning of the end

4. the finale: the attacks stop, and the "shadow persists for a while
