I was taking Zoloft, another SSRI, and had been for years. I was epsisodic at first, then became chronic for a couple of years, until I learned what CH was, and what some of the routine preventative therapies were. Once I got the cycle to stop, it's become episodic, again. I was NOT on year around preventative meds, AND quit taking Zoloft last October, and my current cycle began in November. But, I also took something else that has previously triggered CH, so I don't know what caused it. I don't believe that in my case, "A caused it" or that "lack of 'B' caused it". I think it's a combination of alot of things, that got my body chemistry out of whack.
