Lee is now up to 560 mg. of verapamil. His doctor said he could go to 640 mg. safely, but I do know of people who take more. Just keep an eye on your blood pressure dropping too low. The price of imitrex is enough to give even a non-clusterhead a headache. We haven't had a problem yet. Our prescription plan has been great, plus our doc helps out with samples. You're absolutely right--someone is making lots of money at the expense of people in pain--infuriating, to say the least!
