But you have the dosage reversed; you hit yourself hard(metaphor??) with a large dosage for few days and GRADUALLY step down. I.E. take 20 mg tab 4xday for 4 days; then 3 tabs for 4 days; then 2 tabs for 4 days and finally 1 tab for 4 days. Do NOT ever just stop taking a steroid unless you have stepped it down!
