i was just awakened by what i would consider between a 6 and 7 (on a scale of ten). i did some meditation,
took some ibuprofen and the pain is now down to about a 3 or 4. i almost enjoyed it -- it got me out of bed
and i think i'm finally going to get some laundry done. i think if this is as bad as they get, i could deal
with them. it's the 9's and 10's that really bring me to my knees. i also wonder if this was all the more
painful they ever were and it's just the way i reacted to it that made it not so bad. does anyone know of any
websites or other sources of info on pain management with a leaning toward non-drug treatments? if anyone is
interested, i found http://www.mayohealth.org/mayo/9606/painmgmt.htm. it talks a little bit about attitude
toward pain and that is something i had previously found to be extremely helpful, especially with the unreliability
of medication for dealing with ch's. thanks, and i hope it is as beautiful outside wherever you are as it is here.
