Hi Will,
The doc usually starts preds and verapamil at the start of a cycle. The preds to knock down the cycle on a taper down dose and the verapamil, which takes longer to kick in, to continue through the cycle period after you are off the preds. They take you off the verapamil after a 2week pain free period. It has been very successful for many but not all. Check out the link (below)provided by OUCH. Hope everthing goes well.
