I've used Depakote the last 2 cycles. Last year I used it at 250 mg/day and started during the cycle. I think it caused my cycle to end a month earlier than normal. This year I started to take 500 mg/day on the first of November. For the past 26 years, outside of about 2, I've had a CH cycle during Thanksgiving. This year I still havn't started my cycle. I quit taking any Depakote 2 weeks ago. Was it the Depakote? I hope so. Am I sure? No. One thing you learn.....is not to be too confident about any medication. Should you try it? By all means.
