Karen, many people find the Imitrex jabs more effective than the tabs, but check the link below.
If you used the tabs properly, and they didn't work, the jabs may not either. If you used the tabs incorrectly, then Imitrex may still be a good choice for you.
Ask your doc for a script for the jabs and maybe another for Maxalt MLT. Some folks that haven't had success with Imitrex get relief from the Maxalt.
