Well I went to the doctor today, and first off he gave me some Imitrex, 100mg pills. He said they are usually not as effective if taken after the headache has begun(I've had this headache since sunday), but I'm going to give it a shot here in a few. Hopefully it'll at least help a little.
But, someone had mentioned getting an X-ray of my neck, just to make sure nothing was screwed up in there, possibly causing a headache. Well I mentioned it to my doc, and he said we could do an X-ray, but he'd have to send me out to do it(insurance reasons I guess). Well the girl that was supposed to set the appointment thought she was supposed to go ahead and do the x-ray. Oops, got it done, didn't have to go anywhere :) Anyway, he looked at the x-rays and said my neck should not look like it does. I had an accident on a trampoline when I was in middle school, and that could be causing my headaches. So I'm going to get a MRI of my neck, and I'm going to see another neurologist. Hopefully they'll figure something out and get rid of this pain.
Oh, I also wanted to ask, what side effects does Imitrex usually have? I have to go somewhere soon, so I figured I'd take it once I got back, just incase I get drowsy or something. THanks again for all the support you guys have given me, even if I don't have CH.
