Laurence, sorry for your pain...I don't know about Oxygen useage in the U.K. but here in the States I've found that 100% Oxygen is prefered. I use a non-rebreather mask which has a bag attached that fills with Oxygen to bring you to 100% when tank is set at 10-12 liters for a man my size. (6'2" 230#). You may require more or less. With this set up you can breathe out of mouth, nose or both and abort a C/H very fast...They can sometimes return even 2-3 more in an episode for me but I just keep up the Oxygen till they pass.
