She's an RN that's been around for awhile and she helped me greatly, I use a non-rebreathable mask with both check valves in place take deep slow breathes, but first coat the inside of my nose with Fougera A&D ointment, this brand has no additives as suggested by my neighbor, the oxygen is strong and can actually trigger a cluster if your membranes are super sore. I went one step further and taped my nose shut with masking tape, keep a roll on the concentrator, of course only breathe through the mouth, a humidifier filled with distilled water helps greatly to calm that dryness throat feeling, this may not sound like much, but it sure made a big difference, in five minutes that sharp pain dissappears, in ten, can relax, in 15 minutes, it's gone, least most of the time.
