If it is caused by muscle tension pinching a nerve in the back, the cause of the actual muscle tension is probably immensely varied, i also have a tendency to think and wish one answer will solve everyones CH's and God I wish it would.
I hate meds, I don't take him and I avoid em at all costs, did you know 1/2-3/4 of the people in the hospital are there for reactions to the meds? Thats just me however, I completely understand someone using that route if it promises to relieve a CH.
It's true psychology has a long way to go, but so does medical use of chemicals.
Keep it where you personally can solve/resolve it. I have not had one since the night before last, for me the proof is in the pudding.
