Hi All: I am new at this game of what the Dr at the hospital er Monday night 3/5/01 called Cluster Headaches. I thought I was having a stroke, but a cat scan and blood test ruled that out. I had several blood test done the week before and everything has come back normal. My first Neurologist appointment is a week from today. I'm scared to death, my anixity level is clear out of sight, to the point of my having to return home from a trip to the hardware store because I felt I was losing control of everything. I have had three really bad headaches (with all the systems shown in your test on this web site) in the last 3 weeks. Several minor headaches all most daily with the facial pain and blurring right eye. The Dr at the hospital told me to take Ultram 50mg for pain as needed, until I see the Dr next Fri. I hope I have gave you enough information to possible answer my qestion.
(1) Is it normal to feel like you are losing it? Going crazy in short. I keep asking myself, what the heck is going on with me. I feel this way even when I am not in pain. There are times in the day when I feel just great, but then...
For what little bit I know about CH I think you all are doing a great job in helping one another and who ever is responsible for this site, deserves a GREAT BIG THANK YOU FOR CARING ABOUT OTHERS.
P.S. Don't worry about the screen name as it is a left over from a past business and everyone knows me now by the screen name, so why change it.
