There has been a lot of talk here over the history of this board that a candida overgrowth may have some connection to the cluster condition. If you type "candida" in the search button above right, you will find all kinds of posts written on the subject.
Any antiobiotics can cause an overgrowth of candida. They kill off all the bacteria in your system to fight any infection you are experiencing. We need some of the "good" bacteria to survive in order to keep candida to a proper balance. Everyone has some form of candida and if it's kept to a dull roar, it's harmless. Yeast products, dairy products, sugar all feed candida and it can grow like wildfire and cause all sorts of problems. We are wondering is cluster headaches are one of the problems it's responsible for.
Welcome!
