I tried lithium with no success, I have had cluster headaches for 16 years, on and off. I tried everything available including pure oxygen. One doctor even prescribed thorazine 4 times a day! I am starting a cluster cycle now for the first time in over 2 years!!! I really can't believe it!! I have'nt tried imitrex yet but I have had pretty good results with Midrin. If you take 2 Midrin right as you feel the headache starting, it is much more tolerable and does'nt last as long.. Good luck!
