I'm no pharmacist, but I do work for a printing company and we do print lots of prescription pads... In all seriousness, though, I've tried it when nothing else was available and it seemed to keep the daytime attacks away, and it seemed to postpone the night time attacks by a couple of hours. It's also an opiate agonist (Narcotic) and for me that doesn't sound like a good choice. Perhaps it may work for you, but there are other drugs that will eliminate the pain, and not mask it. I like the triptans because they eliminate the pain, and the preventative therapies, (i.e. verapamil & prednisone) that's just me though. It hasn't worked for everybody and as the years pass, it's been takin' more than it used to.
