I've been using Ultram for years. At first I'd take one at the onset of a CH and if that did not help I took another. Usual time frame to the beginning of relief is 20 minutes. Too long and not always effective. Now I use Imetrex nasal spray to abort but still use my Ultram's for my usual bad HA's. It is a narcotic and will make you dopey. I try to limit my usage as I 've noticed how addictive it can be. Good luck.--tom--
