There was a man who had a cat. He was so afraid his cat would
get run over if he ever let it out of the house. The cat would
bite and scratch the man but he would not let it out and fought
the cat every day to keep it in the house. One day, his cat got
out and was playing in the road. Stupid, dumb cat. He grabbed
the cat by the scruff of the neck and threw it back in the
house, he smacked the cat and yelled at it. After that, the cat
was a much worse cat. It bit and scratched the man and cried at
the window looking out. He was miserable living with this cat but
he did not want it to get hurt.
One day, a wise friend was visiting the man and he told his friend
his troubles with the cat. The friend opened the door and let the
cat out, then comforted the man as he cried over the potential harm
his cat faced. With the cat free to go outside in the open air,
the man and his cat lived in peace.
