Ike, verapamil worked for me in just a few days too. I started on the 240mg. long acting for about a week till my Dr. changed it to short acting ones. I have been pf for a few months except when I tried to wean off them. Then I jumped right back on them and I am staying on them . Pf feels too good , do not want to risk them coming back. smile, nancy c
