I had an MRI eight weeks ago of my brain and orbit areas
to rule out tumors or masses which could have been
simulating CH. Glad I did, though it's not much fun
being "stuck under a car", which is how I view the
process, for 45 minutes. Did get through it, and it was
reassuring to know that there was no apparent mass.
I had a second radiologist at Mayo Clinic, Florida
read it, and he concurred. Whew.

CH can't be diagnosed from the scan, but things with
a much worse prognosis can.

My neurologist at Mayo, Dr. Capibianco, said that some
brain scans (I'm not sure if CT or MRI) show increased
activity in the hypothalamus region of the brain
during a CH, but it is not diagnostic yet.
