Hi Dominique

My experiences are very similar to yours. The difference is only that my headaches started about 90 minutes after the beginning of a meal. In addition I often had an attack at 1 a.m. when I couldn't resist to eat something before going to bed.

Astonishing was that I never had an attack after breakfast. In discussions with my doc we found that this phenomenon could be explained with the peak level of cortisone in the body at this daytime.

Like you I also made some experiments with the kind of food I eat and drink. I found that in my case it was only the sugar that made these attacks possible. During more than 5 weeks I could daily test this fact. If I had any kind of sugar (glucose, fructose, lactose etc.) I got an attack, if not I was pain free.

I only could drink water, tea or coffee (the latter two without sugar and milk). I could eat meat, rice, potatoes and vegetables but no fruit and other sweets.

I hope you will find your way to be pain free. Good luck.

Urs
