I suffered acute, chronic clusters for 17 yrs.(2-5/day-EVERY day). I visit this site from time to time to see how others are doing. I've noticed a good deal of misinformation and oversimplification (there's a lot more to it than vascular spasms). Most of this probably comes from your doctors. M.D.s DO NOT study headaches extensively. There are so few victims of C.Hs. that Neurologists do their research where they can benefit the MOST people (understandably so). If you are SERIOUS about dealing with this, DO NOT go to an M.D. or a Neurologist, go to a reputable Headache Clinic!!! This is ALL they deal with so they have a LOT more information C.Hs. Arm yourself with valid information and facts rather than hearsay and assumptions. Even if it means a long trip it is WELL worth it. God bless all of you!
