The only reason Flash preserves his in honey is that in the UK, possession of dried shrooms is illegal, while possession of undried shrooms is not.
Preserving fresh shrooms in honey is inferior to drying them out completely (and I mean COMPLETELY) and storing them in an airtight glass container. They last far longer with much less loss of potency if properly dried. It is also considerably easier to measure correct dosages with dried ones.
