Looking at the meds survey on this site, it shows a lot of people haven't tried Depakote. My doc put me on it 3 days ago. It took a day and a half to start working, but it really stifles the attacks.
For me it turns an attack into a minor HA that lasts about 15 mins Still getting 5-7 of these a day. I do get tremors during that time, but I'll make that trade any day!!!
I'm 6 weeks into my first sustained bout of CH and for the first time in that span I have been able to function normally for a day and a half. I'm pretty grateful for that.
