I don't have any experience with Norvasc, but most of us who take Imitrex, lithium, verapamil, depakote, etc. take doses that far exceed what is considered a "normal" dose. Since Norvasc is primarily intended for hypertension and angina, I would expect you'd need more than 5mg as a CH preventative. Just my 1¢
