The message I got was from joketdam@xs4all.nl with sender IP address 213.84.28.202. The subject line was "size 31406", I assume in response to my question about wsock32.dll file size. A file "MHFBNJMH.EXE" was attached which contained the W32/Hybris.gen@MM virus.
It is possible someone is tampering with Joke's email remotely, but it would have to be a person with knowledge of how to spoof an IP address, and tools to do so. More likely, someone with access to her computer.
Joke... look in your Outlook Express "sent items" and see if it shows an e-mail sent to me.
