When Oprah was in high school in Nashville, she appeared on a television panel called YOUTH PROBE. The person in charge of the panel invited students to interview various governmental dignitaries, etc. The person who facilitated the panel was Dr. Dennis Loyd, whom Lipscomb University is honoring with a retirement banquet. We are asking all who know Dennis or had special memories of him to e-mail or write a message which we will put into a gift book. He is retiring after teaching forty years in our English department. If Oprah remembers the panel she appeared on, we would love to have a line or two from her for the book.
