Sounds to me like you got CH! But I would check it with a dr first to make sure. Go to a nuerologist. It could be problems with the brain, malformed artieries or capilleries, stress, etc. But fro myour brief description it sounds liek you might have it.
And now you have to find a way to relieve the pain -- or stop it. This is a great site for bouncing ideas off of everyone. Also for finding the right type of medicine.
I use imitrex and verapimil in my cycles -- usually in Spring and Fall for about 6 weeks each time. I am in onew right now - -wake in the middle of night with a headache - -get one around lunchtime, etc. Lasting anywehre from 30 minutes to 2-3 hours. Pain is intense - like having a foot in a bucket of ice for ten minutes except the head does not go number.
Actually, laying down increases and intensifies the pain - -so better to sit and rock in the middle of the night.
THe imitrex injections are the best thing in the world - -take the pain away in a matter of minutes.
