I know exactly what you are talking about. I have recently been diagnosed with CH but have known for years that if I don't eat at fairly regular times I'm at a very high risk for a HA. Sometimes it is a CH depending on the time of the month or year but even a strong general HA can hurt like hell. Your son's teacher should definately be made aware of this. Perhaps in the future if being late for lunch is a possibilty or a HA is coming on she will allow him to have a snack that he has brought.
