Prednisone is removed from the body by the liver, not the kidneys. Therefore, I doubt that the amount of water you drink would effect the half life of prednisone.
Prednisone does, however, cause some fluid retention (why people become swollen while on prednisone). Drinking large volumes of water may make this worse.
