i've had clusters since 1988 or 1987, i can't remember. Most cycles lasted about 3 months max. Then one year while I was in teacher's college I had one that lasted 5 months. Now I've had one since last October, almost 6 months and this is the most severe ever. I 'm on verapamil, lithium and now cortisone, as well as the imitrex jabs. They do vary in duration, and intensity. For instance the last cycle I had lasted 2 months and was completely manageable. I'm now going to try the mushrooms if my druggy friends can find some for me.
