Elaine, thanks for sharing your story with us! You, as well as many others I've had the privilege to meet in the short time I've been "acquainted" with CH.com and HSG, are such a source of encouragement and inspiration to me. As a newbie, I haven't a clue about the "good old days" on the mb, but what I see everyday is a diverse group of individuals that enjoys marvelous freedom of expression, acceptance, loyalty, friendship, wonderful sources of information, fantastic humor, great intellect and talent, unbelieveable patience, tremendous compassion, a comfortable place to be ourselves--all good stuff! I could go on and on and on. I agree that the viruses and other undesirable incidences are certainly unpleasant, but they and the reaction of the individuals who post are all part of who we are--and I believe it all exemplifies our humaness--it is life, at its best and, sometimes, at its worst. What better place for a person in need? Each one of you plays an important role in what it's all about--and I sincerely hope that never changes! Thank you all for being who you are.
