My son and his wife both have Hepatitis C. He is in remission. She is not. She does not handle the known treatments and further cures are not financed. I would hope that a campaign similar to the fundraising drive for aids could be started so that there is more money for research. My daughter-in-law is very ill, very depressed, and frightened. Not much is told about Hepatitis C. My son suffered while he was in treatment but he is in remisssiion. Only 40% are helped at this time.
Because you are so generous with your time and sponsorship of worthwhile causes I hope you will find it in your heart to help establish a fundraising campaign to help battle this awful illness.
