They should know what lithium does to people.
I hope you realize, even if your husband does not, that it is not him but the drug speaking, and that means that hurtful things he says and does, are NOT said and done by him.
That thought may make it easier for you when things ease up and he is back again. That is the moment YOU will neeed a lot of support too. So don't forget we are here.
