Lee's cycle this time began gradually, and the attacks seemed to build up to a peak--then continued on an on/off roller coaster. He even had a two week painfree period this time. Right before it ended, he had the worst attack of all. Lesser attacks the next two nights, then one strong shadow...followed by three weeks pain free now. We hope this time it's the end. The cycle before this ended very abruptly. So, it's both gradual and abrupt, if that makes any sense. Seems like no two cycles are exactly alike!
